ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is John Archibald and I am originally from Richmond, Virginia. Since an early age, whether it was playing drums or writing short stories, I have always been interested in creating artistic works through different mediums. So, after graduating from high school, I went on to study Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication at James Madison University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in May of 2022.

Beyond my extracurricular leadership roles on campus, I found success in music event promotion and independent artist management. Working alongside touring DJs that play for thousands of people has been an invaluable experience in my professional career, as well as a passion project.

After school, I moved to Arlington, Virginia, where I worked in product marketing for over two years at Alarm.com, a security products and services company out of Tyson's Corner. There, I further developed my skills in marketing, creating promotional materials, launch plans, executive and sales presentations, and standard operating procedures for the company.​

 

I now work full-time as an artist manager and DJ, helping other touring and local music artists create their brand identities, increase their social media following, and book performances.
